Sparkly Evening: July 23rd, 2012
Event: night out in Paris

After a morning spent at the biggest flea market in the world (meh; though Jordan of Oh Happy Day’s blog post was so helpful in finding it!) & eating plenty of pastry, we spent the afternoon eating lotssssss o’ bread and cheese beneath the Eiffel Tower (+napping/sunbathing).
Headed over to Champs-Élysées around 930 tonight to grab a fancy cocktail (I went crazy and got some sort of bacon infused old fashioned) & then split a bottle of wine. Capped the evening off with some frites before the walk home.
Walking “home” across the Seine? Priceless.
Tomorrow: bike tour in monet’s gardens! Time for bed.
