Blogs & Books.
Last Sunday I attended the inaugural meeting of “Blogs & Books”, an event fabulously hosted at The Pabst’s pub by Sara and Colleen. They set the scene beautifully—ombré balloons, beautiful coffee table books to peruse, the gorgeous polka dot tablecloth made by Colleen, yummy treats.
It was a nice chance to meet other bloggers, discuss Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project, and feel inspired to keep setting new goals for myself. Sara showed us fun ways to gift wrap books with scarves and I downed about 3 glasses of Colleen’s basil lemonade. Happy Sunday afternoon to me! Wanted to wait to post until some of the other bloggers had their (likely prettier!) photos up! Also in attendance: Karis, Lisa, Marisa, Anna, and (of course) hosts Sara and Colleen. I’m not so much a Milwaukee blogger anymore, but I still would love to attend future meetings as able. Love me events in the Cream City, especially if they support local businesses and involve meeting great people.
