Renegade Craft Fair.
On Saturday morning I headed to Wicker Park to meet up with some of my favorite ladies (Jordan, Natalie, Laura), all from different circles (former co-worker, grad school classmate, travel buddy). We grabbed lunch at The Boundary on Division (seriously delicious turkey burger + a couple o’ Bell’s Oberon) and browsed the booths at the Renegade Craft Fair. Cards snagged from some of my favorites are above. Some truly amazing work—I would have loved more time (/$ to spend) there, but I had an apartment tour set up for Lincoln Square (first one). Sarah kindly met me there to tour it with me and then we walked a very short distance to see her new place—it looks great! I’m torn, dudes. I really liked the apartment I toured, but it’s the only one I’ve seen. That said, I don’t anticipate a plethora of choices for a November 1st move-in. We’ll see! Gotta jump on it or wait it out and see other places.
Such a nice day spent with friends and the lovely city o’ Chicago. Spent the evening back in Wicker Park seeing a blues band—also very fun. A lot of beer & culture this weekend.
2 months until I get to say goodbye to the metra and live in the city!
