Renegade craft fair (Flocktails)
On Saturday I made the long journey (aka a short half mile walk muahaha) from Katherine and Jenna’s fabulous new apartment over to The Lincoln Hotel. I met all my Paris companions (minus Maria) for a rooftop dinner date at The J Parker (see here for hilarious history of the name). We got loaded meatloaf, sipped Moscow Mules, and shared chocolate chip cookies. The portions were not large, but the food was delicious and the view cannot be beat.
Great to see all of them. We agreed we’re just a perfect foursome. 
We are heading to my lake house for an October weekend–can’t wait! Laura and I kept the night going in Wicker Park at the secretive Violet Hour (so glad we spotted the doorman emerge from—seemingly—nowhere) and grabbed a final beer across from her apartment before falling asleep to an episode of Homeland.
On the train back home after a day of wandering Chicago. More soon!
