The Purples: March 2nd, 2010

Event: Lab meeting/hours, morning class, errands/homework, meeting, night class

Outfit: Basic white tee: Gap; Two-tone skirt: Old Navy; Necklace (gift from Anna) & Tights: Target; Long sweater vest: H&M; Boots: Aldo

Today I decided to take my own advice and use some colorful tights to improve my mood. I won’t claim it was completely successful, but it helped things along just a little bit. One might say I aimed for a case of the purples instead of the blues.

Aha. Ha. Ha.

My morning class has (literally, I believe) 100% of us angry and frustrated right now, so am just trying to make it through the next few courses. So much busy work and general ridiculousness. If we are not handed teacher evaluation forms (as was the case last semester), I may have some sort of mental break. TWO. MORE. WEEKS.

These lovely self-portraits were achieved by balancing my camera on my stovetop. They were just all kinds of fail (I completely decapitated myself in some), but oh well. Just makes me all the more grateful to the people who help me out with outfit photos!

Time for more paper writing. The end is so close I can ALMOST taste it.
