Belted & Leased: June 13th, 2010

Event: Sunday afternoon with Adam (Chuck viewing and dinner in Milwaukee)

Outfit: Khaki ruffled collar dress: The Limited; Sandals: Target; Purse & flower pin: H&M; Belt & bangles: Forever 21

Please click to enlarge photos if you have a minute—-makes me sad how tiny WordPress just made ’em! Adam rocks impromptu parking garage photo shoots.

I figured I had better pack at least one set of “real” clothing as we just might do something other than the Beer Run on Sunday. Good call, self. We wound up going to The Wicked Hop for dinner, and it was DELICIOUS. We each got a pasta dish and had plenty o’ leftovers for the next day. Mmmmm. We’d previously only been there for drinks, so their fairly lengthy menu was a pleasant surprise. My $3 cup of coffee was an epic fail (um, $2 is my limit, and even that makes me cranky), but otherwise I’d highly recommend it! We dined outdoors, which was fun—-especially as the city was full of people celebrating PrideFest.

I also included a couple of “signing the lease” shots below. Yep, one month from today we will have a place together! My medical placement goes through July 29th, so mine will be a very slow move-in, but should work out—-perfect for getting some painting done first! Can you say RED KITCHEN?

Hope you’re having a fantabulous week in spite of the horrible weather. Oh, Chicago. IT’S SUMMERTIME. Please start recognizin’.
