Floral Father’s Day: June 20th, 2010

Event: Toy Story 3 & makin’ falafel

Outfit: Blue floral dress: Banana Republic; Sandals: Target; Bag: H&M; Belt: Forever 21; Necklace: Borrowed from Anna

Honestly, this photo makes me wonder if I should hang onto this dress. Isn’t the most flattering shot I’ve seen. I love this dress (was a $30 marked down from $130 BR find), but it might not be the best on me. Closet, I just don’t know what to do with you. I think it’s time to make room for new pieces that I don’t feel only so-so about (um, and make sure Adam and I are able to co-habitate without hanging clothes from the balcony). OOOOOOOOF. BUT IT’S SO HARD.

I do like the concept of this outfit, though. I usually have worn this dress during the winter, so it was fun to Summer-ize it. Felt like a good choice for a 30-minutes-notice family movie outing. Brown accessories are really calling to me recently—-so many bloggers are rockin’ them, whether alongside black or with gorgeous colors.

Time to sign off. Felt cruddy all day, figured out I had a fever when I got home. I’m really hoping this is a brief illness…the horrible chills are already gone, so maybe continued hydration and a bedtime before 11pm will nip this in the bud. Let’s hope—this upcoming weekend o’ Jeff & Beth’s wedding will be pretty busy. And, sure, I have 3 busy days of internship to get through before the weekend rolls around. C’mon, pineapple juice. HAVE CURATIVE POWERSSS TO THE ZILLIONTH DEGREE.
