Still Red, White, & Blue: July 6th, 2010

Event: Medical placement

Outfit: Plaid shirt-dress: Old Navy; Tan slacks: Gap; Red flats: Target; Heart necklace: gift from Adam’s great-aunt (Scotland); Belt: Forever 21

This felt like another semi “me” work look. I was feeling guilty for not posting any internship outfits lately, so this week I’ve stolen Anna on her also-up-at-a-horrible-hour internship mornings to take a few photos.

I guess the 4th inspired me to rediscover a favorite piece: the plaid shirt-dress. I’ve enjoyed it as a casual and as a rather dressed up item; definitely has earned its $25 pricetag. Good job, Old Navy. Even if this “tall” piece’s hemline is anything but.

Quick post—time to make some dinner. No ginormous updates—work has been busy this week, but I’ve been “Shredding” every night! 20 minutes in my own house is pretty darn easy to commit to. Other than that, moving is starting to creep into my mind…the lease starts next week! Time to organize my belongings (easier said than done!). Hope you’re having a great week and looking forward to some excellent weekend plans!
