Brunch The First: September 4th, 2010

Event: Adam’s grandpa’s surprise 80th birthday brunch @ The Clubhouse

Outfit: Green flutter-sleeve dress: Gap (2007); Boots: Aldo (gift from parents); Necklace: General Eccentric; Bag: H&M; Suit jacket: Worthington via JCPenney; Ring: JCrew

This was the weekend o’ brunches. Saturday’s was at The Clubhouse in Oak Brook, IL  and was in honor of Adam’s grandpa’s 80th birthday. The food was delicious, and there was a very nice turn-out from Adam’s family…lots of people to shout “surprise”! I wanted to dress nicely without looking too formal considering the noon arrival time (which meant we left MKE at 10:30am). I also own this dress in black, since my mom awesomely let me keep it after it didn’t work out for her. You’ll see most of these accessories recycled for the next day’s blogger brunch—that’s how I try to roll when I’m traveling.

As you can see in the one photo below, Adam’s been trying out the new reflectors he purchased…and sometimes he winds up in the shots as well.

Blogger brunch post(s?) are coming up ASAP!
