Purple & Grey: October 5th, 2010

Event: Dinner/drinks with Stephy in MKE (worn with black pants/belt/flats for work)

Outfit: Grey cardigan & jeans: Gap; Purple sleeveless blouse: JCrew Factory Store; Sandals: Target; Earrings: Walmart

Ollllld outfit, coming through. I wore this a bit more dressed up for work and threw on some jeans so Stephy and I could go grab some yummy bar food at the Ale House. Stephy, one of my best friends, recently moved out to Davis, CA with her fiancee. She was awesomely in town for 10 days and made it up to MKE for an evening to meet Arwen and see my new city. I introduced her to the yummy pumpkin spice cupcakes, we ordered bruschetta and veggie wraps, and Adam met up with us for a bottle o’ Malbec at Kafevino. It was great to see her and hear her wedding updates. We’ve known each other since, oh, six months of age, so reunions are pretty sweet.

The cardigan is hiding it a bit, but this silk shell was one of my JCrew Factory purchases from last weekend. Originally $80, obtained for $14. Score!

Time to hit the gym before enjoying some wine & cheese. No work tomorrow, so updates will be coming soon. I got to see my sister AND Clare this weekend! Wheeeeeeee.

  1. That cardi is a great find and you’ll get tons of use out of it. Hmmm…you’ve inspired me to run up to the outlets now. 🙂

  2. Love that cardigan. And it was so fantastic to see you this weekend!! 🙂

  3. Arwen is an awesome accessory and that bruschetta looks drool worthy! And the ruffles on your blouse are pretty cute too 🙂
