Skirts & Decadence: February 4th, 2011

Event: Night out w/our special weekend guests, Danielle & Anna!

Outfit: Blue tee: Gap; Recurring Themes skirt: Anthropologie; Boots: Aldo (gift); Necklace: H&M

I broke out my new SNOW DAY purchase at the first opportunity. I love this skirt! I, er, may have worn it again today. Very possible. Please excuse the tipsy, 2AM kitchen photos.

Our friend Danielle, who recently moved away from Milwaukee, was back in town this week on business and awesomely stayed an extra night so we could all relive our days o’ drinking many Spotted Cows together. We picked up Anna (mi hermana) from the bus depot around 7pm and we all immediately enjoyed DELICIOUS cheese, bread, and wine (courtesy of Danielle & the Milwaukee Public Market’s awesomeness). Followed it up with yummy burgers & beers at the Wicked Hop, and some way overpriced whiskey from a very confused waitress at the Irish Pub. I deem the evening a win. Sugar cookie dough may have been consumed when we returned to the apartment.

Anna and I are in the middle of a girls’ night in. Meatballs & pesto pasta from the market have been scarfed, bread has been dipped in olive oil, and I need to go slice up more cheese. Ah, decadence.

Hope your weekend is fabulous so far, and perhaps involves goat cheese? It think it’s my new obsession.

  1. Such a beautiful skirt!! sounds like a great weekend!

  2. I was debating picking up that skirt and now I’m convinced…it looks so pretty with the boots!

  3. The particular shade of Blue is very flattering. Yummy wine!

  4. Mmmm, cheese…

Also, I love how a fancy skirt can look so lovely with a simpler tee and sassy boots. 🙂

  5. Hooray for cheese!
