Dinners: April 10th-13th

Smitten Kitchen: Simple Potato Gratin

My mom’s meatloaf (complete with Anna’s…helpful…additions ;-D):

1 lb of ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1-2 stalks of celery chopped
1 egg
generous sprinklings of breadcumbs
salt and pepper to taste. DONT TASTE IT though it’s RAW MEAT!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix it all together in a large bowl with your BARE hands! (philosophy: be a man, use your hand)  Add the breadcrumbs until the mixture is not gooey and gross. Put in all in a glass bread loaf pan and stick it in the oven for about an hour.

Oh, don’t even bother to make this if you are lacking in pickles or ketchup. 😉
