Family Night: December 22nd, 2011

Event: Family apartment warming

Outfit: Striped sweater: JCrew Factory; Cords: Gap; Boots: Diba via DSW; Necklace: handed down from aunt

A few weeks ago my mom suggested having the whole family over to my new apartment for  little holiday get-together. Our family is very small, and it’s always nice to get together multiple times over the holidays. We’re going to see “White Christmas” tomorrow—very excited!

I made some cupcakes with cream cheese frosting (inspired by this Christmas tree!), set out some chocolates, and put together a little hot chocolate station. My aunt and uncle brought a few housewarming gifts, which was totally unexpected! I now have some new dish towels, pot holders, and a wine preserver! Score.

This break keeps getting less and less healthy, more and more delicious. Must workout tomorrow morning…and then go make Christmas cookies with Anna. Hmmm.

“Short people in the front!” “Ummm, we don’t have any short people.”
