Walking With Animals: February 7th, 2012

Event: Work

Outfit: Dress & flats: Target; Sweater vest: H&M; Necklace: gift;

I wanted to take more forest preserve photos today but, um, there was a police car stationed in the parking lot and I figured that—-while style bloggin’ might be legal—-there isn’t much more awkward than stationing oneself 20 feet away from a cop and smiling for the camera. Especially when it’s crazy windy and your dress just spends the whole photo shoot clinging to your legs.

ANYWHOODLE. I was excited to don my new Target flats—-keep sneakin’ animal print into my wardrobe.  Had hoped to stumble across this pair since seeing Viktoria don them…was eager to avoid a pricier pair from Steve Madden, etc. A brown & black outfit seemed appropriate.

Headed to the animal shelter right after work for a little dog walkin’ time and am now chilling with veggie/goat cheese pizza & IEP-writing before treadmilling it up. Have a great Tuesday night!

  1. I love that dress every way you’ve worn it. I’m so jealous of all your delicious goat cheese meals . . . makes me want to go out and get some right now.

  2. I find animal prints so tricky! You are rockin’ it!

  4. Such a fantastic dress…so many great ways you styled it, especially with the shirt undernieth! So fun to pair it with the leopard flats!

  5. You got the shoes! Yay!! They are fun to wear and I always get compliments on them. It’s so unexpected to see something fun on feet! 🙂
