Milwaukee Moments.

The Color Run’s timing was pretty perfect: I already had a Milwaukee weekend on the books. Aside from the pink hair, I also got to grab brunch at Benelux with some of my favorite Milwaukeeans (Kristy, Michael, Pierre, Ginessa, Alex, & Anna), which also meant a reunion with my favorite bloody Mary: the Muddy Larry (I like whisky so much more than vodka). Anna and I followed that up with a (steamy) lakeside walk and then went to Water Street Brewery for samplers & dinner with one of her friends. Grabbed a cocktail at Rumpus Room, and then Anna and I were off to Gotye. Such a cool show visually, on top of the also-awesome music. I dig Missy Higgins, too, so she was a great bonus. Woke up the next day with homemade pancakes & big mugs o’ coffee.

Sunday afternoon? Blogs & Books, awesomely hosted by Sara and Colleen. More on that soon. The decor was fabulous!

Ah, Milwaukee. I keep missing you. So eager to be a city girl again, even if it’ll be in your bigger neighbor.

  1. Looks like an excellent time. I’m intrigued by the Muddy Larry. I’m not a big Bloody Mary fan, but that sounds like it has some potential.

  2. I love all your dresses!!!
