Restrained: November 14th, 2012

Event: Work (training)

Outfit: Sweater: Target; Cords: Gap Outlet; Scarf: Gap; Boots: Steve Madden

Started my day yesterday with a meeting regarding my first formal observation at work. It went really well! While I got positive feedback at my last job, I was feeling a bit more nervous with my new one. I’m really enjoying it, but I’m working with children with more significant needs and doing a lot of learning. But…woohoo! Off to a good start. Don’t get me wrong, after grad school and 2 years of being evaluated—I’m used to it—but it’ll be nice to have a  couple months without a formal observation on the books.

The rest of my day was spent at a course on crisis prevention/nonviolent restraint, etc. So…restrained, easy-peasy outfit. Kind of necessary when people are practicing restraining you all afternoon (being 5’10” made this a fun challenge for the petite ladies also in attendance). Loving corduroy & boot weather. & Getting home in time to work out before dinner out? The best.

  1. Hooray for the positive feedback at your evaluation!
