Lawn Chair Weather.
77 degrees? On April 1st? In CHICAGO?
No April Fool’s Day tricks here; that’s truly the temperature. By the way, I’m not a fan of the facebook side of this holiday (This Fish rants about it a bit here). This has become the day where I just couldn’t care less if you got engaged/married or broke up. BECAUSE I DON’T BELIEVE YOU.
Google—er, TOPEKA—is another story. Vowel outage? Scants over at ModLife? Christopher’s cameo? You crack me up.
Went for a run outside this morning and seriously could not process the temperature. SO HOT. Was grateful for the wind. Ran approximately 3 miles (I perhaps drove the route after running it in an attempt to calculate mileage. WHAT? Yes, I am that cool—and that annoyed with mapmyrun), which is a ways away from the 3.75 I need to be cranking out—re-registered for the 6k yesterday. Very motivating!
Post-run afternoon components are pictured below: Kashi Mediterranean pizza, a Bud Light, water, March’s Real Simple, and my lovely Praxis review book. I love a sunny afternoon in a comfy lawn chair.
Haha. I love the Skants. I’m considering throwing on a pair before Paul gets home…

The pizza looks delish, and it’s such a coincidence: I just got home from the gym where I read the March Real Simple on the elliptical đŸ™‚
